HOME DESTROYED BY FIRE FRIDAY NEAR BLEIBLERVILLE

  

Multiple fire departments responded to a house fire in Austin County Friday afternoon, but they were unable to save the structure.  Firemen from New Ulm, Industry, Bleiblerville, and Bellville Fire Departments responded Friday afternoon at 2:30 PM to a structure fire at 4097 Skalak Road near New Ulm .  Firemen arrived to find the home fully involved.  No one was reported injured in the fire, but the home was a total loss.

The couple who lived at the home, Derek Weige and his fiance’ Claire and her two small children lost everything in the fire.  A go fund me account has been set up to help them recover from the loss.  To donate go to gofundme.com/weige-family-house-fire.
