“HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS” SATURDAY IN NAVASOTA

  

The city of Navasota is hosting their sixth annual “Home for the Holidays”, this Saturday.

Downtown Navasota will be transformed into a winter wonderland full of family activities beginning at 10 a.m.

Events include: an “ice-skating” rink behind city hall, an inflatable snow maze and toboggan tunnel, and local businesses will be open for Christmas shopping.  There will also be free gift-wrapping at the Chamber of Commerce from 10-to-noon.

Casey Ellis, with the City of Navasota, says the guest of honor, Santa Clause will be arriving at City Hall at 3:00…

Admission to all events is free of charge.

There will also be a Christmas Market that local organizations will have set up to raise funds, behind the visitors’ kiosk.

Ellis says the event will really showcase the many improvements to downtown Navasota…
