HOUSTON MAN ARRESTED IN BRENHAM AFTER POLICE CHASE

A Houston man faces an evading arrest charge after a traffic stop Saturday morning in Brenham.
Around 10:00 a.m., Sgt. Steven Eilert attempted to stop a motorcycle driven by 25-year old Ricky Lee Perez, following an accident in the 2400 block of Highway 290 East.
Perez was able to elude authorities…however, a short time later, police were informed that Perez was involved in a wreck in the 300 block of West Alamo st.
When officers arrived, Perez had fled on foot. He was captured a short time later.
Perez is charged with Evading Arrest with a Motor Vehicle.
