HOUSTON PAIR CHARGED IN BRENHAM ROBBERY

Two Houston residents have been arrested and charged with Aggravated Robbery in Brenham.
37-year old Darryl Wayne Bowers and 26-year old Johntrice Raechelle Coleman were arrested Saturday after a woman says she was struck and robbed by her cousin.
Officer Terrence Johnson was called to the 900 block of West Sixth St., around 8:00 a.m. Saturday, in reference to an aggravated robbery.
The alleged victim said she was leaving her residence when she was confronted by Bowers, who she says struck her in the face with a small handgun and stole her cell phone, then fled in a vehicle.
Officers located the Bowers’ vehicle, arresting both he and his passenger, Coleman.
Both are charged with Aggravated Robbery.
