HUDSON SMITH NAMED ALL-AMERICAN

Brenham Cub swimmer Hudson Smith has been named All-American.

Smith, the UIL State Champion in the 100-yard breaststroke and silver medal winner in the 200-yard individual medley, has been named National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association and Speedo Boys High School Swimming All-America.

Smith will be entering his junior year at Brenham.

He was selected to first team all-state in the 100-yard breaststroke, 100-yard freestyle, 200-yard IM and 200-yard freestyle by the Texas Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association (TISCA) after this past swim season.

He was also second team all-state in the 100-yard backstroke.
