HUESKE ANNOUNCES BID FOR REELECTION
A Washington County commissioner has announced his bid for reelection.
Precinct-2 Commissioner Luther Hueske has filed to run the 2014 Republican primary.

Hueske says he has seen a lot of changes in the past three years, and more are certain to come.
Hueske says it’s vital the county looks ahead, recognizing that growth is imminent and experience on the court will be important, not only in Precinct-2, but throughout the county.
In his three years on the Commissioners Court, Hueske has served on the Washington County Healthy Living Association board of directors; headed up the Texas Department of Agriculture’s “Hog Out” program; and has worked on various contracts and policies.
Today (Monday) is the last day to file for the 2014 primaries.
In addition to Hueske, Precinct * County Commissioner Joy Fuchs has announced her run for re-election, as has County Judge John Brieden.
Hueske has not drawn an opponent for the March primary.
