Hundreds of parents and students turned out for STEM Night Thursday at Brenham Elementary School.  This is the second year the school has hosted and evening with many Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics activities.  This year students from Alton and Krause Elementary schools were also invited to attend.  Students could participate in many activities such as catapulting marshmallows with a spoon, trying on an astronaut glove, listening to a goat’s heartbeat, and identifying things on a nature hunt.  Students could also vote on which artwork they liked made from recycled products.  Many organizations and business had displays and activities for the students to learn about science.  A sausage wrap meal was also provided by Burton Sausage, Chappell Hill Sausage, Kountry Boys Sausage, Sonic, Brookshire Brothers and HEB.
