KATIE ROBERTS NAMED NEW CUBETTES SOFTBALL COACH

Former Brenham Cubette softball standout Katie Bush Roberts will be the new Head Softball Coach at Brenham High School.

Roberts is a 2005 graduate of Brenham High School. She played volleyball for BHS and also played for the State Championship softball team in 2005.

Roberts continued her softball career at University of Houston and was also Assistant Coach to the State Championship softball team at Pearland High School.

Roberts has most recently served as the Head Coach at Santa Fe High School. During her three year tenure there, the team won District each year, made it to the Area round twice, and the Regional Championship once.

Roberts’ record at Santa Fe High School over the three year period is 75-14.
Phillip Roberts will also be joining the Brenham ISD coaching staff as Coordinator of the Brenham Junior High School football program. He comes to Brenham ISD from Pearland High School where he served as Offensive Coordinator.

Parents of incoming softball players for the 2017-2018 school year are invited to meet Coach Katie Roberts on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at Brenham High School in lecture rooms 111-113.

  1. Best of Luck to Coach Roberts. & family for making Brenham their home. I’m always happy to see the young Brenhamites coming back to Brenham. That generation keeps the Spirit of baseball & softball going for Brenham. I’m loving watching girls softball & hope theae Cubettes make it someday to WCWS in Oklahoma!! I’ll always be a cheering fan for baseball too !!!!!
