KATY WOMAN KILLED IN ROBERTSON CO.

  

A Katy woman is dead after a two-vehicle collision Thursday morning in Robertson County.

Troopers say the accident happened just before 7:00 a.m. on Highway Six just over the Brazos County line.

According to the Department of Public Safety, 20-year-old Chelsea Larsen was driving her Toyota sedan northbound on Highway 6 in between Hearne and Bryan when she began veering off to the right side of the road.

As she tried to get back in her lane, she over-corrected and ended up in the southbound lane in the path of a tractor trailer.

The truck broadsided Larson's vehicle.  DPS reports that she was wearing a seatbelt, however she was ejected and died upon impact.

The driver of the semi-tractor trailer was not injured.
