KOLKHORST TO SPEND HOLIDAYS MOVING INTO SENATE OFFICE

  

State Senator Lois Kolkhorst is looking forward to serving as the senator of District 18, and will spend the holidays moving furniture down one floor from her old office to her new one.

Kolkorst was sworn in on Monday by Gov. Elect Greg Abbot, and she knows that her hard work and risk-taking was worth it.

Kolkhorst says that her 14 years of legislative experience will help her in the Senate, spending so much time on issues that the state of Texas is facing right now.

She will represent the district that runs from Washington County to south of Corpus Christ and east to Katy and Gonzales County.

Kolkhorst also says that she is not using the state Senate as a “stepping stone,” and will be focusing on current position for now, and not be thinking about seeking a higher office.
