LA GRANGE MAN ARRESTED FOR POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

  

A La Grange man was arrested on Sunday for possession of a controlled substance.

Deputy Darrell Maze was on patrol and noticed a suspicious vehicle on Forest Hills East Road in La Grange. When Deputy Maze approached the vehicle, the driver told him he was unfamiliar with the area and was lost.

It was at this time that Deputy Maze noticed the driver had an open container of alcohol and a clear plastic bag with a crystal substance inside. Later, the substance in the bag tested positive for Methamphetamine.

The driver, Travis Barrett Stech, 36, of La Grange was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.
