LADY LIONS ANNOUNCE DECEMBER PRIZE CALENDAR WINNERS

  

The Washington County Ladies Lions Club announced the December winners from the Prize Calendar drawings:

Grand Prize:  $1,000 Gift Certificate donated by Appel Ford, Hyundai of Brenham/Quick Lane was won by Kathy Campbell of Brenham.

Winning $50 Visa Gift cards were:

Julie Petty- Brenham, Charles Villeneuve- Seguin, Ester Garcia- Houston, Glinda Blank-Brenham.

This concluded the monthly drawings from the club’s prize calendar for 2015.  Event Chair Lion Debra Leroy Russell stated: “the support of the local businesses in purchase of ads and the sales of our calendar by our supporters is what made both of the two groups of awards possible.

In addition to the monthly drawings, a donation was made for $2,500 to Bosom Buddies as our local group and the Lions organization: $2,500 to The Leader Dog for the Blind programs: Rochester Brick Plaza, Kennel Project and Regular Club donation. “

The club’s December events also included singing at Kruse Village and a food drive for the Brenham Bread Partners.
