The Lady Lions have announce Lion of the Year and Rookie of the Year members

The annual award for the Lion of the Year for the Washington County Ladies Lions Club was presented to Lion Debra Leroy Russell by outgoing President Jeannie Luedemann.

Russell has been an outstanding event chair for the fundraiser calendar for the past two years which will provide funding of $15,000 to various organizations as well as being an active Lion Tamer.

The Rookie of the Year award was also presented by President Luedemann to Nelda Buck. The Rookie is a first year member who has excelled in support and involvement in the club and the activities.

Awards and pins were also presented for prefect attendance to:  Pam parker, Thresia Schlabach, Shirley Moehlmann, Pat Lueckemeyer, Debra Leroy Russell, Laverne Krumrey, Terry Parkinson, Connie Kendall, Peggy Kramer, Linda Oberhoff, and Jeanne Luedemann.  Outgoing officers were also presented pins for their dedication over the past year.
