LAKEFEST SET FOR LATER THIS MONTH
Preparations continue for the 2018 Somerville Lakefest at Welch Park.
This year’s event has been moved up from mid-July to June 29th and 30th.
This year’s event will include two concerts, barbeque coo-offs, a kid’s play area, arts and crafts, a classic car show and other activities.
Friday night the 29th, features a free kick-off dance with the Mark Randall Band. Saturday, gates open at 10:00 a.m. and the day culminates with a dance with the Texas Unlimited Band from 9:00 p.m. to midnight.
Admission Saturday is $10 for adults, $5 for ages 6-to-12, and children 5-and-under get in free.
