LARGE CROWDS ATTEND PUTT TO CURE MS EVENT

  

A benefit mini-golf tournament, the annual Putt 2 Cure MS was held last night at Horseshoe Junction being held to raise funds to cure Multiple Sclerosis, and an enthusiastic crowd came out to support research efforts aimed at finding a cure for Multiple Sclerosis.

A total of $7,350 dollars were raised, 28 teams participating, with 100% of money going to research efforts to cure MS.

For the Under 12 category, the winner was Ethan Jezierski

Best Individual: Justin and Tammy Jaster

Best Team: Jackson Four: Walter, Tanya, Braelin and Bailey Family. Walter Jackson is the new superintendent of Brenham ISD.

Sponsors of the events were KWHI/KTEX 106, Horseshoe Junction and Solutions in Sound.

Mike Brinkmeyer, coordinator of the events, wishes to thank all of the sponsors and volunteers that gave their time to support a worthy cause.
