LARGE CROWDS EXPECTED FOR BLUE BELL FUN RUN TOMORROW

  

Rain or shine, the Blue Bell Fun Run will take place tomorrow (Saturday), starting at Brenham High School on FM 2935 off of Loop 577.

Race Packets and Race Day Registration may be picked up today (Friday) between 4:00pm and 8:00pm.

On Saturday, those who did not register on Friday may pick up their Packets on Saturday, beginning at 6:15am until 7:30am.

At 8:00am, the race starts with the Kid’s 1 miles Run.

Then at 8:30am, the 10k open/team race will start.

At 8:45am, the 5k open/team will run, and at 9:00am, those walking the 5K will start their race.

At 10:00 am, the awards for the winners of the Run will be held.

Blue Bell officials want to remind runners that if lightning is present, the race will be postponed and adjusted, and weather conditions will be monitored.

In regards to the post-race activities, if it does rain, these activities will be moved into one of the gymnasiums for the award ceremonies, race-day photos with the Blue Bell backdrop, and the selling of new and vintage merchandise.

And of course, Blue Bell Ice Cream will be served either way.

The Blue Bell Fun Run began in 1978 to benefit the Brenham High School Athletic Programs.
