LEMAN PLANNING TO OPEN DISTRICT OFFICE IN BRENHAM

House Representative Ben Leman is looking to open a district office in Brenham.

After winning the runoff election against Jill Wolfskill, the newly elected District 13 Representative said he plans to open an office in each of the seven counties he services.  Leman said Brenham would be his first district office location, following with a rotational mobile office going out into each county.  He wants to be easily accessible to citizens for any services they might need.

Leman’s term lasts for six months, filling former Representative Leighton Shubert’s seat, who stepped down last year.  Leman said he’s appreciated getting a head start serving as a representative, citing that most newly elected representatives won’t go through the learning curve until the start of the legislative session, beginning January 8 at the Capitol.
