    1. Bush did not make it law. It was a directive sent down by the Department of Defense.

  1. It was an honor to serve and be part of the lll% with John Deans and protect our Marines from harm.In this troubled times it difficult to understand how and why our Armed Services are unarmed and cannot protect themselves thus making them an easy target for the enemies of the U.S. If enough good citizens stand together the USA can change and again be the strongest country in the world.

  2. How proud I am of these fine citizens of Brenham..Many times in the last few weeks, Brenhamites have gone above and beyond to show their support for various groups that are facing hardships at this time..I know that I would feel much safer were I in a military office that were being protected by the citizens of that county and in full force..Thank you Ladies and Gentlemen…

  3. Citizen patriots stepping forward to protect those who protect us. “Armed Forces” should not be an oxy moron.

  4. Thanks to all the CHL citizens who have volunteered to protect/guard the recruiting office. I think it’s a shame that our military are unable to carry their weapons at all times and if they were allowed to be armed the incidents in Tenn., Fort Hood and other places would not have happened. What is wrong with the U.S.?

    1. Something is seriously wrong with this country! Why does the White House have to be told and people have to complain to get the flag lowered half way to honor our fallen Marines?
