LIFETIME LEARNING HOSTS MEDIA FORUM

  

Washington County Lifetime Learning hosted a media forum at their luncheon today (Friday) at Blinn College.  Four members from local media fielded questions on how their profession is changing.  On the panel were: Jim Moser with Moser Community Media which manages 26 community newspapers across Texas, Michael Mueck, publisher of the Brenham Banner Press, Mike Wright, general manager of KBTX-TV in Bryan and KWTX-TV in Waco, and Tom D. Whitehead, general manager of KTEX and KWHI radio. Jeff Tilley, Director of Marketing and Communications for Blinn College moderated the event.  The group talked about how the internet has put increasing demands on their business and what their consumers expect.  Jim Moser explained how it has changed the newspaper business:
