LIVE NATIVITY SCENES SCHEDULED FOR THIS WEEKEND

  

Several Live Nativity Scenes will be going on in the area this weekend.  St. Peters Lutheran Church in Gay Hill will be having theirs this Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.  This will be the churches 10th year to put on a Live Nativity.  Pastor Skip Stutts explains what visitors can expect to see:

The Independence Community Events Organization will also be presenting a Live Nativity this weekend.  Their Nativity is scheduled for Sunday and Monday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00.  It will take place in downtown Independence and Hot Dogs, Cookies and Hot Chocolate will be available.  Santa will arrive on his fire truck both evenings at 6:30.  Independence is located at the intersection of FM 50 and FM 390.
