LIVESTOCK JUDGING TODAY AT WASHINGTON CO. FAIR — RESULTS

  

Today is the day many people feel the Washington County Fair truly gets underway.

Livestock judging is underway and continues throughout the day at the Fairgrounds in Brenham.

The schedule of judging began at 7:00 with the Broilers and Turkeys, and continues throughout the day until the Steer Show which begins at 4:00.

The top finishers qualify for the Junior Livestock Sale Thursday at 2:00.

Fair President David Wellmann says today and tomorrow are the big days for the youth of Washington County…

 

Also on tap for today, the Country Creations, Country Store and Commercial Exhibit Building all open at 10:00 a.m.

Jeff Woolsey & the Dancehall Kings

The winners have been announced in the Country Creations Divisions.  The Adult High Premium Exhibitor is Deborah Hupe.  The Youth Premium Exhibitor is Kennedy Ashorn.  A complete list of the winners can be found on our website: www.kwhi.com.

The winners of the Little Mister and Miss Contest will be announced at 6:00 at the Entertainment Pavilion.

The Heart of America Carnival opens at 6:00.

Bull riding and mutton bustin’ begins at 7:30 at the Rodeo Arena.

Tonight’s entertainment will feature Jeff Woolsey and the Dancehall Kings taking the stage at 8:30.

Craig Montana will be broadcasting live this morning from the Fairgrounds.

Tomorrow’s schedule is highlighted by the Junior Livestock Auction, set for 2:00, with live coverage beginning at 1:45 on KWHI and kwhi.com.
