LOCAL ATTORNEY HONORED

  

A local attorney has been recognized for his contributions to the real estate section of the Texas State Bar.

Steven C. Haley received the 2017 Weatherbie Workhorse Award recently at the Texas State Bar Advanced Real Estate Law conference in San Antonio.

Haley was there to speak on Texas Abstracts of Judgment and Judgment Liens.

The award is given annually by the State Bar of Texas to an individual attorney who has made significant and sustained contributions to the Real Estate Section of the Texas State Bar throughout their career.

Haley is a frequent writer and speaker for the State Bar of Texas for continuing legal education.

Haley is a partner at Moorman Tate Haley Upchurch & Yates, LLP and has been with the firm for 32 years.
