LOCAL AUTHORITIES RECOVER STOLEN LIGHT TOWER

  

Austin County Sheriff’s deputies have recovered a stolen light tower from Navarro County.

According to authorities, they were contacted Friday afternoon by the Navarro County Sheriff’s Office out of Corsicana, a light tower, was stolen from a construction site out of their county.

The tower was equipped with a GPS tracking device and was located in the vicinity of Glaeser Road in Austin County.

Sheriff’s Deputies along with of Constable Dave Schulz, went to that location.  A search warrant was issued and the light tower was located and recovered.

The Navarro County Sheriff’s Office has been notified and will be recovering the tower.
