LOCAL BURGLARIES UNDER INVESTIGATION

  

 

Brenham Police are investigating a trio of burglaries reported Monday.

Officer Ashley Burns responded at about 7:00 a.m. to the 900 block of S. Jackson St. in reference to the burglary of two vehicles. Both vehicles had their windows broken out; a wallet and tablet worth approximately $200 were taken from one, while the  speakers and speaker box were taken from the other vehicle.

About a half-hour later, Officer Jose Perez responded to the 100 block of E. Alamo St in reference to the burglary of a motor vehicle.

The caller said she had gone home the night before at approximately 8 p.m.; when she left for work Monday morning, she noticed several items were stolen from her vehicle.

The items, which included exercise equipment and clothing, were valued at $1,600.

Monday afternoon, Sgt. Jason Derrick responded to the 2100 block of S. Blue Bell Road in reference to the burglary of a building.

The caller said stereo equipment and tools, valued at $1,200, were missing.

The investigations into the burglaries continue.
