LOCAL BURGLARIES UNDER INVESTIGATION

  

Brenham Police are investigating a pair of burglaries.

Sunday afternoon, just before 1:30, Officer Jonathan Phipps responded to the 600 block of Eleanor to the burglary of a habitation.

The caller said someone broke in to her apartment and stole a purse with approximately $3,000 in it.

Then, Monday afternoon, around 3 p.m., Cpl. David Dudenhoeffer responded to the 1600 block of Lauraine St. in reference to the burglary of a habitation.

The caller said a television and cash were taken.

Both incidents are under investigation.
