LOCAL BURGLARY UNDER INVESTIGATION

  

Brenham Police are investigating a local burglary.

Monday afternoon, Cpl. Steven Eilert responded to the 1500 block of Garrett St.

The caller said she had left home earlier in the morning but that her son was there until 12:45 p.m. When he left, all doors were locked.

When the caller returned home, a door into the house was unlocked and several items were missing.

Eilert said the door appeared to have been pushed open. Items taken included an Xbox gaming system, computer and tablet as well as video games.

Total value of the items taken was approximately $1,100.

The incident is under investigation.
