LOCAL CHURCH COLLECTING SUPPLIES FOR LOUISIANA FLOOD VICTIMS

The Fellowship Baptist Church in Brenham is collecting supplies for victims of the recent flooding in Louisiana.

The church is requesting non-perishable food, bottled water, and toiletry items such as shampoo, soap, toothpaste, and toiletries for babies. Items also in demand include disinfecting cleaners, bleach, disposable cleaning wipes, and hand sanitizer. Ready to eat snack items are also appreciated including cereal bars, crackers, and chips. Any monetary donations are also extremely helpful.

Pastor Darren Donaldson says he was inspired to create the donation event due to his connections in Louisiana:

Residents are asked to drop off donations on Monday, August 22nd until 5 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church. The church is located at 2000 FM 389 across from Wehmeyer’s Mobile Home Park.

  1. That is great teamwork! Those people have been through a lot! The least we could do is help out! Keep those families in your prayers!
