A Brenham man is back behind bars after he turned himself in on an outstanding warrant, issued last week.

18-year old Terry Dewayne Rogers is being held in the Washington Couty Jail on a charge of Unauthorized use of a Motor Vehicle.

The warrant was issued last Tuesday for an August theft of a vehicle from the Bluebonnet Hills Subdivision.

Also arrested was 18-year old Gamarcus Dewayne Sheppard, also of Brenham.

Both Rogers and Sheppard were arrested back on September 25th for a separate case of Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, in which a vehicle was stolen from a residence near Tigerpoint Road.

Both had been free on a $25,000.00 bond for the earlier charges.

Both are currently in custody with bond set at $150,000 each.

  1. our system is overloaded, our prisons are full and our law officers are under payed risking their lives every day to put away people like this and then having them turned out again and again.every one should write a letter to their congressman and express their concerns

  2. How dare them even offer bail to these two, they need to be sent away for a very long time. When is our justice system going to stand up and tell criminals enough is enough.

  3. This is the 3rd time in a month these guys have been arrested. What is wrong with our system?

    1. The lawyers make more money if they keep running them thru the system other than locking them up for extended periods.
