LOCAL MAN ARRESTED FOR CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE

A well-known Brenham man has been arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a child.
72-year old Andrew Webster Hart was arrested at his home Tuesday afternoon and charged with the continued sexual abuse of a young child under six.
Hart has been a long-time volunteer to local organizations and charities.
He is currently in the Washington County Jail.
No other details are available at this time.
Hart’s bond is set at $500,000.
