LOCAL MAN ARRESTED FOR MARIJUANA POSSESSION
A Brenham man faces marijuana possession charges after a Monday night traffic stop.
20-year old Joaquin Santos Echeverria was pulled over Monday night around 8 p.m., in the 2100 block of Old Chappell Hill Road.
Officer Ashley Burns says when she approached vehicle, she could smell marijuana.
A search turned up a small amount of marijuana in the vehicle.
Echeverria was detained, and charged with Possession of Marijuana under 2 ounces.
