  1. Did not think our P.D. Investigated shots fired. I live in an average neighborhood in this city and hear shots of varied calibers on a daily basis. Was told by our P.D. That it is okay for any gun to be discharged inside the city as long as there are no streets or homes nearby. What is a city, but streets and homes in close proximity? My reponse was, “what if everyone does it? “. No answer was given. Feel sure that if I lived in Walnut hill or similar neighborhood, it would not be tolerated by the law. City ordinances are worthless unless the affluent make the complaint. I do not feel safe in my own yard.

    1. Senior, the law came because a man called and said he was shot at from a vehicle driving by.
