LOCAL RESIDENTS URGED TO WEAR BLUE FRIDAY
Washington County residents are being asked to support a move to wear blue Friday, in memory of slain Harris County Sheriff’s Deputy Darren Goforth.
Goforth was gunned down last Friday, while putting gas in his patrol unit.
Funeral services will be held Friday morning in Houston.
Washington County Commissioner Joy Fuchs is urging everyone to support #BlueHouston in memory of Goforth and to show support for all law enforcement.
Fuchs also says a moment of silence will be observed Friday morning at 11:00 at the Police Officers’ memorial in front of the Washington County Courthouse.
