LOCAL SUBWAY HELPING FEED RESPONDERS

A local restaurant is helping feed emergency responders who are helping victims of Hurricane Harvey.

The local Subway restaurants are donating a total of 600 6" sandwiches Monday and Tuesday, to be dispersed to the National Guard and local law enforcement, ems and firemen.

According to local Subway manager Kathy Frisbie, Subway headquarters feels the need to participate and help out as much as possible in our local area.

Frisbie says employees in this area are proud of what has pulled the Brenham area together to help in any way possible.

Subway fed the National Guard last Friday, 280 foot long lunch boxes.

Officials are also asking any local businesses if they could donate chips to the cause.
