LOCAL TEAMS FARE WELL AT DISTRICT 4H CONTEST

  

The Washington County Livestock Judging Team took top sweepstakes honors for the third year in a row at the  District 11 4-H Judging Contest this past weekend at TAMU.

RESULTS:

1st Place Junior Team

Taiden Thiel - 3rd HPI Overall, 5th Cattle, 2nd Sheep and Goats,

Gene Bilski - 8th HPI, 2nd Cattle

Calvin Wunderlich - 12th HPI, 3rd Cattle

Paige Fritsch - 1st HPI Overall, 1st Sheep and Goats, 2nd Hogs

Weston Hinze - 6th HPI Overall, 3rd Sheep and Goats, 1st Reasons

Chet Fritsch - 4th HPI Overall, 5th Cattle, 3rd Hogs, 3rd Reasons,

Tanna Thiel - 11th HPI Overall

Waylon Hinze - 12th HPI Overall, 2nd Sheep and Goats, 5th Hogs, 6th Reasons

The Washington Co 4-H Soil Judging Team also had a big day at the District 11 Contest. The Soil Judging Teams are coached by Trey Boeker and Gil Janner.
