LOCAL THEFT AND BURGLARY UNDER INVESTIGATION

  

Brenham Police are investigating a local theft.

Monday morning, Cpl. Todd Ashorn responded to the 1100 block of Industrial Blvd. in reference to the theft of copper.

The caller said someone had cut the lock of the main gate and stole approximately $300-$500 worth of copper.

Police are also investigating a burglary.

Monday afternoon, Sgt. Judson Hall met with a complainant at the Police Department in reference to the burglary of a vehicle.

The man said he had been at Hohlt Park at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Monday and someone stole $65 from his wallet.

The man said he had locked his car, but left the windows cracked.

Both incidents are under investigation.
