The public is invited to attend this commemoration of Pearl Harbor Day, with a special invitation extended to all World War II Veterans and their families.  Brenham’s VFW Post is located at 1200 East Tom Green Street.

  1. A hundred million tears ago, when the japs bombed Pearl Harbor, they also invaded the Philippines, In May 1941, the War Department evacuated all women and children military dependents. They return stateside to wait their husbands/fathers return. Then there was the fall of the Philippines-and the Bataan Death March and the worst horror of the prisoner of war camps. It is a hurt that never heals.
