LOCAL WOMAN HELPS CLOSE TRADING AT NEW YORK STOCK EXCHANGE

  

A local woman helped with the closing bell ceremony at the New York Stock Exchange on Friday.

Ellen Fuller, the volunteer co-chair of the Brazos Valley chapter of "Wreaths Across America", hit the gavel to signify the close of trading. The honor was held as the organization is celebrating its 25th anniversary.

“Wreaths Across America” is a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring and thanking veterans for their service and sacrifice. The “Wreaths Across America” mission is to “Remember, Honor, and Teach”. The annual wreath laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery started in 1992 is now performed around the country.
