LONNIE LANDGRAF DIES AT 84

A former Brenham city leader has passed away.

Lonnie Landgraf, died earlier this week in Levelland, he was 84.

Landgraf was the former manager of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce and Brenham Industrial Foundation.  He also set up the first mailbox to the North Pole in front of the Chamber office which became a childhood tradition every Christmas season.

Landgraff was the former director of personnel and public relations for American Lighting Standards until 1979.  He then decided to start his own real estate business, Bluebonnet Realtors, which he owned and operated until his retirement.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, at Calvary Baptist Church in Brenham. Burial will follow in the Prairie Lea Cemetery.

  1. Lonnie was a very good friend and neighbor. I had my Real Estate salesman license with him in the 70’s and 80’s. I would love to go to the office and chat with Lonnie, He was funny and very entertaining. A wonderful man whom will be missed and always remembered.
