MADISON CO. COMMISSIONER ARRESTED

A Madison County Commissioner has reportedly been arrested by the Texas Rangers.
KBTX TV is reporting that Precinct 2 Madison County Commissioner Phillip Grisham is facing several criminal charges, including two counts of "Abuse of Official Capacity" and one charge of "Theft of Property."
Grisham tells KBTX that the charges stem from personal equipment he loaned the county for maintenance work.
Grisham claims a county employee was using his tractor when it broke down. He says he then billed the county for the replacement parts.
Grisham tells KBTX he's innocent and "it'll be sorted out in court."
Grisham was arrested Wednesday, then released on $8500 bond.
