MAIFEST ROYALTY HONORED AT STATE CAPITOL
The Junior and Senior Maifest Royalty and their parents were honored yesterday (Monday) at the State Capitol. Normally this honor is bestowed by the Governor but Rick Perry was traveling so State Rep. Lois Kolkhorst presented the proclamation .

The 123rd Brenham Maifest will run from Friday May 2nd to Sunday, May 4th. This is the celebration of Brenham’s German Heritage. It’s a time of German Music, food and even a German Church service. The Junior Coronation will be that Friday night, the parade will be Saturday morning and the Senior Coronation will be Saturday night.
