MAIL BOX BURGLARIES

  

Federal Postal Investigators are investigating a rash of vandalism and burglaries of mail boxes in the area.

The U.S. Postal Service reports that the outdoor mail boxes in Brenham, Chappell Hill, Milican and Old Washington were burglarized sometime from Saturday night through early Sunday  morning.  The post master for the downtown Brenham post office discovered the burglary when she checked the mail deliveries Sunday morning but could not determine what was stolen.

There are no suspects in the case.
