MAJOR ACCIDENT SHUTS DOWN 290 WEST IN BOTH DIRECTIONS

There was a major accident involving an 18 wheeler gravel truck, which had Highway 290 W at the 8700 Block shut down in both directions until about 2:30 this afternoon.

A St. Joseph helicopter landed on Highway 290 and transported the injured driver of the truck.

The accident, which occurred around 12:30pm today is located near Red Tip Lane, near the Artesian Park, 8.7 miles west of downtown.

The Brenham Fire Department and the Washington County EMS responded to the scene, as well as the Life Flight Helicopter.

PLEASE, help this man,he is a good husband and father,the kind of man that would give you his last dollar if you needed it.he is bad hurt.he dont know about this request for help.he has a p.o. box in goodrich tx,dont know the box number,but you can send a check or money order in care of the p.o they know him too.hes had more than his share of sorrow,but he dont give up.PLEASE help him.

  2. Prayers for healing for this gentleman. I hope he will be ok, prayers for his family also.

I respect this man.he works hard,he is a good husband and father.he would give you the last dollar he had.as you know he has been badly injured in an accident.he needs all the help he can get.and he really deserves help.he has a p.o. box in goodrich ,tx. sorry i dont know the box number.but if you can sent a check or money order in care of goodrich tx post office.they know him too.he is unaware of this request for help.but i know he is gonna need it.PLEASE help him.asking the truck drivers to pitch in,you folks know how hard a living this is.And please,a lot of prayer also.he has had a lot of sorrow in his life.but he dont give up.He is,a very good man.
