MAN ARRESTED FOR SHOOTING DEATH OF FAYETTE COUNTY TEEN

  

A San Antonio man has been arrested in connection to the shooting death of a Fayette County teen.

According to the Fayette County Sheriff's Office, a 911 call came in at approximately 8:30 p.m. Monday reporting a 17-year-old male had been shot and was not breathing.

Fayette County EMS and the sheriff’s office responded to a home on Albers road, located in the Waldeck area.

After an investigation, authorities decided to arrest 22-year-old Eduardo Hernandez, of San Antonio, on a manslaughter charge.

Hernandez was arraigned and is being held on a $100,000 bond.

The case is still under investigation by the Texas Rangers and the sheriff’s office.
