MAN ARRESTED FOR STEALING A BARBEQUE PIT

  

A Houston man is in Brenham Police custody after his arrest Wednesday night.

Cpl. David Dudenhoeffer was dispatched to the HEB shopping center in the 2500 block of S. Day at around 10:20 Wednesday night in reference to the theft of a barbecue pit.

While on his way, he was notified that the suspect had left the scene and was traveling west bound on US 290 W.

Officers located the vehicle and stopped it on SH 36 N by N. Dixie.

The driver, 21-year old Adolfo Lozano-Fernandez of Houston, was arrested and charged with Theft over $50 and under $500; as well as possession of synthetic cannabinoids
