MAN ARRESTED ON MULTIPLE DRUG CHARGES
A man from Melissa, Texas faces several drug possession charges after his arrest during a traffic stop last night.
Just before 11:30, Ofc. Andy Adams conducted a traffic stop in the area of E. Main @ N. Baylor Streets.
Adams says he could smell the distinct odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.
The driver, 18-year old Antonio Robert Tamez, admitted to having paraphernalia for inside the vehicle.
Ofc. Adams conducted a search and found Xanax, Hydrocodone, and LSD inside the vehicle.
Tamez was taken into custody on three charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance.
