MAN ARRESTED WITH MARIJUANA IN CITY PARK
(Washington Co. Jail)
A Brenham man faces a drug possession charge after his arrest Thursday night.
Just before midnight, Officer Sierra Newell spotted a vehicle in Jackson Street Park after hours.
Newell says when the driver, 22-year old Devin Ian Fillmore rolled down the window, smoke began to vent from the vehicle and Newell could smell the strong odor of marijuana.
During a probable cause search, marijuana was found.
Fillmore is charged with Possession of marijuana in a drug free zone.
