MAN DROWNS AT LAKE CONROE
A 21-year old man is dead after he drowned at Lake Conroe during a Fourth of July outing, Friday afternoon.
North Montgomery County Fire Department received a call at 3:25 saying that the man had jumped off his dock during a party at his home near Treasure Island in Walden and did not resurface.
The fire department, along with the Montgomery County Sheriff's office, arrived and recovered the man’s body approximately about a half hour after he’d gone missing.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene—his name has not been released.
An autopsy has been ordered.
