MAN SENTENCED FOR 2008 BRAZOS COUNTY SEXUAL ASSAULT
A north Texas man has been sentenced to prison for the sexual assault of a teenage girl in Brazos County, eight years ago.
Back in 2012, John Henry Pelser of Irving, was given probation in the case that had occurred back in 2008.
Wednesday, Pelser was sentenced in District Court in Bryan to 10 years in prison after violating his probation.
Pelser reportedly admitted to 25 violations.
Eight of those violations are related to a Dallas County case last year where Pelser allegedly held a co-worker captive for two days and sexually assaulted her.
Pelser was arrested about a week later after fleeing to his parents’ home in Tucson, Arizona.
Pelser will serve the 10-year sentence concurrently with a 14-year sentence for the Dallas abduction.
Must have been a Plea Bargain.
