MARGARET E. BLIZZARD SENIOR CENTER OFFERING FREE TUTORING

The Margaret E. Blizzard Senior Center is offering free tutoring services to students from Kindergarten to 4th grade.

The center has retired teachers that will tutor K-4 students in reading and math free of charge during this summer starting July 3-July 31, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays at 10AM-1:00PM.  Classes will be limited, and only twelve students will be accepted.  Students must be dropped off at 9:45 and picked up no later than 1:15.

The Center’s drive is located across from the National Guard Armory at 1301 E. Tom Green.  Lunch, books, and supplies will be furnished by the Fortnightly Club and the Senior Center.  Parents who would like to enroll their child for summer help can contact the center at 836-6552 to sign up for the classes.
