MARIJUANA FARM DISCOVERED NEAR GOODRICH
One man has been arrested and another is believed to be on the run in connection with a huge East Texas marijuana farm discovered over the weekend.
Authorities near Goodrich, Texas say they have arrested one man found in the woods near what could be as many as 28 fields of marijuana. They are searching for another man, and warn drivers on U.S. 59 south of Livingston to keep their doors locked.
On Monday inmates were used to pull up more than 47,000 marijuana plants growing in 18 fields. Then, ten more fields were discovered nearby. Work on disposing of the plants will continue today (Tuesday).
